The MMX Performance MINI F56 GP3 / BMW F40 M135i Silicone Intake Hose is engineered to improve airflow efficiency by replacing the restrictive factory intake hose found on BMW's highest-output B48A20T1 engine. Designed for the MINI John Cooper Works GP3 and BMW M135i, this upgraded silicone hose provides a smoother, less restrictive airflow path between the airbox and turbocharger to improve engine response and induction efficiency.
The factory intake hose incorporates convoluted sections that create unnecessary turbulence as air travels toward the turbocharger. While suitable for OEM refinement, these restrictions become increasingly apparent on an engine producing over 300 horsepower. The MMX Silicone Intake Hose replaces the factory component with a large-diameter, smooth-flowing design that reduces airflow disruption and pressure loss throughout the intake tract.
Constructed from premium multi-layer silicone, the hose features reinforced internal sections to maintain its shape under elevated temperatures and boost pressures. The reinforced construction resists expansion and deformation, ensuring consistent airflow under demanding driving conditions while delivering long-term durability.
The MMX Silicone Intake Hose is fully compatible with the factory airbox and intake elbow while also pairing seamlessly with the MMX Intake Resonator Delete Pipe to create a complete induction upgrade for the B48A20T1 platform.
