VTT 1.8T/2.0T MQB Complete Catch Can System

The factory MQB crankcase-ventilation system uses two operating paths: the low side draws vacuum from the intake ports during idle, cruise, and engine braking, while the high side uses turbo-inlet vacuum under boost. The VTT Complete Catch Can System separates and manages both paths rather than treating only the high side.

Complete Low- and High-Side Control

A purpose-built PCV plate routes each side into its own catch-can chamber. Strategically positioned check valves help keep boost out of the crankcase, while baffling and stainless-steel mesh in both the plate and catch can help separate oil mist before it reaches the intake ports or turbo inlet.

Compact, High-Flow Layout

The can mounts near the cold side of the turbocharger against the firewall, keeping hose runs short to reduce vacuum and volume losses. Custom CNC-machined banjo fittings and bolts create a compact installation, and the -6AN low-side vacuum connection can also provide a boost reference for compatible accessories.

• Audi 8V A3 1.8T and 2.0T FWD/AWD fitment remains unconfirmed.

Optional Crankcase Breather

The system can be paired with the VTT crankcase breather that replaces the oil cap for additional venting under high-load operation.
