VTT B58 Gen 1 Billet PCV Cap Kit

The factory PCV diaphragm in the Gen 1 B58 valve cover can crack or tear over time, resulting in lost crankcase vacuum and possible smoking. The VTT kit replaces the factory plastic cap and diaphragm arrangement with a billet-aluminum cap and a dedicated vacuum path from the cylinder-head ports to the intake manifold.

System Design

The supplied low-profile banjo fitting, vacuum/boost adapter, and check-valve hose preserve controlled low-side vacuum while replacing the fragile factory cap assembly. The connection can also be incorporated into a compatible low-side catch-can system.

Installation Overview

Remove the factory cap and diaphragm, seat the VTT billet cap in the factory location, install the vacuum/boost adapter in the factory vacuum line, connect the supplied check-valve hose, and tighten all fittings. Confirm correct hose direction and leak-free connections before operating the vehicle.
