VTT / Fab Factory BMW N54 Intake Manifold

The fan-favorite Fab Factory N54 intake manifold is back as a VTT-produced component. VTT acquired the original design and manufacturing data, then worked with its CNC partner to reproduce the manifold faithfully while retaining the features that made the original so popular.

Construction and Airflow

  • Billet 6061-T6 aluminum construction
  • CNC-machined runners with internal velocity-stack entry geometry
  • TIG-welded assembly
  • Anodized finish for corrosion resistance and appearance

Integrated Port Options

  • Two -10 ORB ports on the underside for compatible VTT PCV, vacuum, or modular fittings
  • Three accessible 1/8-27 NPT ports on top for manifold-vacuum and boost-reference connections

Available Finishes

Choose Black, Clear, Red, Blue, or the listed Custom anodize option. Actual color can vary slightly between batches and display screens.

RWD Fitment

Tested on supported E8X and E9X rear-wheel-drive N54 vehicles with stock-height engine mounts. The manifold fits these tested configurations without hood-clearance issues.

Critical Engine-Height and XI Warning

Any engine mount or modification that raises the engine above stock height can create hood-clearance problems.

XI fitment results have varied. VTT cannot guarantee hood clearance on XI vehicles. Parts that have been test-fitted or installed and are no longer in new condition cannot be returned. Measure carefully and order XI applications with this limitation in mind.

Installation

Professional installation and a complete fitment check are required. Plan the fuel rail, injectors, throttle-body connection, PCV routing, vacuum references, and charge plumbing before final assembly. Pressure- and smoke-test the intake system after installation.
