VTT Billet BMW Motor-Mount Inserts

Reduce unwanted engine movement without converting the car to a harsh solid-mount setup. VTT billet inserts reinforce compatible factory-style rubber engine mounts, retaining much of the original isolation while improving drivetrain control and shift feel.

How the Inserts Work

The inserts press into the open sections of compatible rubber mounts. The original mount continues to isolate vibration, while the billet structure limits excess deflection under acceleration, braking, and shifting.

Available Configurations

  • N54 / E- and F-series N55 / N20 / selected B58 insert pair
  • S55 insert pair
  • Insert pairs preinstalled in selected aftermarket replacement mounts
  • Insert pairs preinstalled in selected genuine BMW mounts

Select the configuration that matches the chassis and engine from the product options.

Fitment Warning

Fitment is not universal across every model using these engines. Certain applications—including some E6X N54 535i/535xi and N55 535i xDrive configurations—use different mounts and are not compatible. Confirm the existing mount shape and part number before ordering.

NVH and Driving Feel

Increased noise, vibration, and harshness at idle is normal after installation. N54 vehicles may benefit from an idle increase to approximately 800–900 RPM through appropriate calibration. Vibration typically decreases once the vehicle is moving.

Installation

Remove the engine mounts, press the inserts into the compatible mounts with a soft-face mallet or controlled press, and reinstall using the factory service procedure. Replace leaking, collapsed, or damaged mounts rather than installing inserts into failed components.
