VTT VAG 5×112-to-5×114 Wheel Stud Conversion Kit

A specialized stud package for supported VAG 5×112 hubs using compatible 5×114 wheels. The conversion studs use M14x1.5 hub-side threads and M12x1.5 wheel-side threads so the selected wheel can be centered by the tapered lug seats.

• Cold-rolled class 10.9 steel construction

• 10 mm bull nose for easier lug-nut engagement

• 12 mm unthreaded shank
• 48 mm wheel-side threaded section

Kit Contents

• Ten or twenty M14x1.5-to-M12x1.5 black conversion studs, as selected
• Ten or twenty M12x1.5, 19 mm-hex black open-ended lug nuts, as selected

Critical Fitment and Safety

The wheels must be drilled for M14 hardware; these studs are not compatible with wheels drilled only for M12 hardware. Do not use hub-centering sleeves with this conversion. The tapered lug seats center the wheel. During installation, snug the lug nuts gradually in a star pattern so the wheel seats evenly; improper centering can damage the studs or wheel.

Installation and Service

Apply medium-strength threadlocker to clean hub-side threads and install each stud to the published 10 ft-lb specification unless current supplied instructions state otherwise. Torque the lug nuts to the applicable specification and recheck every stud and nut after 25–50 miles. Inspect the hardware regularly for corrosion, damage, or movement.
