VTT VAG Billet One-Way Crankcase Breather
A compact one-way crankcase breather for supported VAG latch-style oil-cap applications. It can supplement a compatible factory PCV system or be incorporated into a properly designed external PCV arrangement.
Construction
- CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body
- Durable black-anodized finish
- Four internal stainless-steel baffles
- PTFE one-way check ball
- Serviceable breather filter and retaining clamp
- Approximately three inches tall from the cap area with a filter approximately 2.75 inches in diameter
Fitment
Verified for hood clearance on supported MK7 GTI and Golf R applications and designed around the common VAG latch-style oil-cap interface. It does not fit every VAG engine. Not for TDI or B8 2.0 applications. Compare the original cap and check hood clearance before ordering.
Service Requirement
This is a service item. Oil separated from crankcase vapor accumulates in the filter and breather assembly. Inspect and clean the filter and internal components periodically. Engines with substantial crankcase vapor may saturate the filter more quickly and can emit a small amount of oil mist if service is delayed.
