Introducing our TTE600 Turbochargers for the 991 CARRERA 3.0 for the ultimate blend of power, response, and Plug&play ease of fitment. Our first upgrade step utilizing the original turbochargers for greater flow and power. TTE600 Performance turbochargers can and do makeover 600PS with the right software at low boost with ease, yet offer only a little loss in response but offer a big step too more power. These really do offer a great balance of high power and fast response.
Engineered & Enhanced
TTE600 Turbochargers start life as Genuine OE units. Engineered and enhanced using mostly BorgWarner components. TTE600 uses RS4 compressor covers that we CNC machine in house to an optimum clearance to allow fitment and maintain the efficiency of a larger more advanced billet TTE compressor wheels. The compressor wheel design features promote greater airflow using a low inertia wheel that performs like a wheel of even greater size and mass. Extended tip technology enables the user to have faster spool-up at lower engine speeds while providing high boost with less heat for the powerful top-end performance.
The turbine and shafts we use are TTE 9 blade items bigger in size than the original for more power.
Special profile 360 deg high-performance motorsport journal bearing is fitted as standard, to remain durable at higher loads with no loss in transient response.
Actuators used are OE units fitted for trouble-free operation.
Equilibrium
Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document.

Sending Your Turbocharger You are responsible for sending your turbo, follow the instructions below. Be sure to place your invoice inside the package/s. If you have twin turbochargers then package separately to avoid damage and place the packaging slip inside box. Turbochargers must be in good working order and free from damage, any turbochargers sent with damage may incur extra charges* Please do not send any accessories, oil lines, valves, hoses, parts, or components apart from the turbocharger and actuator as we will not be responsible for any losses or breakages of parts. Pack any turbocharger individually and extremely well to avoid any transit damage, double boxing is recommended. We also recommend adding double shipping labels to the outside of your package and place one inside to ensure your package does not become lost. We recommend using only DHL, UPS, FEDEX carriers. Please send using Express Service ONLY. Using other carriers or non-express will likely cause parcel delays at customs if sending from outside the EU and possible extra fees or return to you. Once you have sent your turbocharger/s to TheTurboEngineers they will be fully checked and validated if they are ok to be upgraded within a 2 week timeframe. Once approved for an upgrade they will continue with the process. If for any reason they can not upgrade your turbocharger/s e.g. damaged. We will contact you. If turbochargers arrive at TheTurboEngineers without a Packaging Slip they will not be upgraded and will be delayed.
