N54 HPFP Controller USB-to-Serial Adapter

This FTDI-chipset USB-to-serial adapter provides the communication link used to connect a compatible computer to the supported N54 high-pressure fuel-pump controller for setup and service work.

Purpose

Use the adapter when controller configuration, diagnostics, or firmware communication requires a wired serial connection. The FTDI chipset is selected for broad driver support and reliable communication.

Compatibility

Intended for the compatible N54 HPFP controller system sold or supported by VTT. This is not a universal tuning cable and does not replace the vehicle’s standard diagnostic interface.

Before Connecting

• Install the correct FTDI driver for the computer and operating system.
• Use only the controller software and connection procedure supplied for the supported controller.
• Do not connect or disconnect controller wiring with the system powered unless the controller instructions specifically allow it.
