VTT BMW N54 Wastegate Bung Removal Tool
Remove the pressed wastegate bungs from BMW N54 turbocharger housings without sending the housings to a large press or fabricating a one-off puller. The VTT tool supports controlled disassembly during a complete wastegate repair.

Construction
The tool is manufactured from steel for the strength required to extract the pressed factory wastegate bungs and for repeated workshop use.
Basic Procedure
After the turbocharger is fully disassembled, remove the original flapper from the wastegate shaft/bung assembly. Position the VTT tool squarely and use the threaded puller to extract the bung from the housing. Install the replacement bung and weld the new flapper in the correct position.
