VTT BMW N54 Rear Turbo-Drain Block-Off

Seal the unused rear turbo oil-drain location during a BMW N54 single-turbo conversion with a purpose-built VTT block-off rather than an improvised plate or plug.

Construction

Each fitting is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized for a durable finish, and supplied with the application-specific O-ring required for installation.

Application

For the rear turbo-drain location on supported BMW N54 engines when the conversion uses a single front oil-return path.

Installation

Clean the mounting surface, verify the supplied seal is correctly positioned, and tighten the retaining hardware evenly to the appropriate specification. Inspect for oil leaks after initial startup and again after the first heat cycle.
