VTT N54 Front Coolant Plug
Properly close the unused front coolant port when converting a BMW N54 to a single-turbo configuration. The application-specific VTT plug provides a compact, sealed alternative to improvised caps and adapters.
Construction
Each fitting is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized for a durable finish, and supplied with the application-specific O-ring required for installation.
Application
For the front coolant-port location on supported BMW N54 engines during a single-turbo conversion. Confirm the required port arrangement for the turbo kit and coolant-line layout before installation.
Installation
Lubricate the O-ring with a coolant-compatible lubricant, install the plug squarely, and verify that it is fully seated. Pressure-test the cooling system and inspect for leaks before returning the vehicle to service.
