BMW N55 Turbocharger Installation Kit

Start an N55 turbocharger replacement with the common seals and hardware already on hand. Choose the service level that matches the condition of the original fasteners and the planned installation.

Stage 1 Kit

The Stage 1 option includes the common gaskets and O-rings required for a supported N55 turbocharger installation.

Full Installation Kit

The full kit adds the applicable studs, six manifold gaskets, downpipe gasket, and copper nuts to the gasket and O-ring package.

Fitment

N55 hardware varies by chassis, production date, wastegate type, and turbocharger configuration. Select the correct vehicle option and compare the supplied parts with the original installation before disassembly.

Installation

Turbocharger work must be completed by a qualified technician. Clean every sealing surface, replace damaged lines or fasteners, follow BMW torque procedures, prime the turbocharger, bleed the cooling system, and inspect for oil, coolant, exhaust, and boost leaks.
