Beyond durability, this valve cover removes the problematic factory PCV system, giving you complete control over how you set up your PCV. We highly recommend pairing it with a catch can for optimal performance. Additionally, this cover is perfect for single turbo conversions, offering increased clearance and improved heat resistance.

Important Installation Notes:

⚠️ Torque Specs: Hand-tighten, warm up the engine, then re-tighten by hand. Do not overtighten, as this may crack the valve cover due to its positioning on the gasket.

⚠️ PCV System Considerations:

• Switching to an aluminum valve cover removes the factory PCV system.
• Without an external PCV setup, there’s a high likelihood of oil bypassing or smoking, especially on S55 engines.
• At minimum, we highly recommend an external low-side PCV setup to create crankcase vacuum at idle—this aids in turbo draining and overall engine performance.
• For best results, we suggest blocking the head ports to relieve pressure on the gasket and prevent boost from entering the crankcase.
