Genuine Black TiAL BOV Spring
Use this genuine TiAL replacement spring in compatible TiAL blow-off valves where the black spring rate matches the engine-vacuum and valve configuration.
Application
Commonly used on BMW N54 charge-pipe systems fitted with a TiAL BOV. The correct spring can help the valve open fully and reduce compressor flutter or surge during throttle closure.
Idle Behavior
The black spring may hold the BOV slightly open at idle. This can be normal for the selected spring and valve configuration. If a closed-at-idle position is required, spring shimming and final setup should be completed carefully.
